Outside of novels, Ann has co-authored several plays and served as a narrative designer on educational ARGs sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
As a playwright, Ann has co-authored several comedies with her brother, Shawn Fraistat, including Romeo & Juliet: Choose Your Own Ending, published by Playscripts, and performed throughout the United States and Canada.
Alternate Reality Games
ARGs are games defined by interactive, transmedia storytelling, the real-time influence of players’ ideas & actions, and their use of the real world as a platform.
As a narrative designer, Ann has collaborated with the University of Maryland’s iSchool on educational ARGS sponsored by the National Science Foundation, including The Tessera (an Official Selection of IndieCade Games Festival 2017).
